What OctoCart is

OctoCart puts this week's grocery flyers from local stores in one place, especially the markets the big flyer apps skip. Flyers come from two places: the stores' own public websites, where they already post their flyers for shoppers, and stores that send us their flyer through OctoMart.

A person approves each store's first flyers. After that, a store's flyer goes up on its own only while every check passes, and anything unusual goes back to a person. A flyer shows only between the dates printed on it, in the store's own time, and comes down after its last day. If we don't have a store's current flyer, we show nothing rather than something old.

Reading OctoCart is free. No account, no subscription, no charges.

Prices are the store's

Each store sets the prices, products and dates on its flyer. Stores change prices, run out of things and make printing mistakes, and a flyer can differ from what the till charges. Please check prices in the store. OctoCart isn't responsible for differences between a flyer and what a store charges.

Flyers belong to the stores

Flyer images, store names and logos belong to the stores and chains they come from. We show them to help shoppers find local deals, and claim no ownership of them. If you run a store and want a flyer, a listing or your whole store taken down or corrected, write to support@chekinfotech.com with the store's name and a link. We act on it quickly, stop collecting it from your website, and keep a record of every take-down and its reason.

Please don't

• copy OctoCart in bulk, overload it, or try to disrupt it;
• pretend to be a store or chain you don't run, when sending a flyer or asking for a change or take-down;
• send a flyer you don't have the right to share (store owners);
• use OctoCart to break the law.

We may remove content, or close an OctoMart account, that breaks these rules.

Store owners

If you send us your flyer through OctoMart, you're responsible for it: it must be your store's own flyer (or material you have the right to use), with honest prices and dates. A person checks every flyer you send before it appears, and we may decline or remove a flyer at our discretion. If you invite people to your team, they act for your store: you're responsible for the flyers they send too, and you can remove them at any time.

As is

OctoCart is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any damages from using OctoCart, including relying on a flyer's prices or what's in stock. We may change, pause or stop any part of OctoCart at any time.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts in Alberta, Canada, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms or your use of OctoCart.

Changes

We may update these terms. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it takes effect. Using OctoCart after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions: support@chekinfotech.com.
